This sculpture takes the action of rainwater running down windowpanes to a new level.

Down the black surface of the sculpture a phenomenon may be seen which develops from the interaction between the water and it’s backdrop. The surface is so smooth that as the water descends it is released from all controls except the force of gravity. Quicksilver veins emerge which appear to pump quiet life down the length of the sculpture

Numerous of the Waterveins sculpture has been commissioned making this one of Project Leophard’s most popular installation pieces.
