Watch concept, Wacom painting, Rhinoceros & Bunkspeed Hypershot rendering. Recycled and CNC engraved carbon fiber.

Idea for this unique watch concept has been developed when I was exchange student in Japan. I was living middle of two time zones and two different cultures. It was difficult to live same time in local time and thinking and contacting my home country Finland. Living this way was difficult, because of six hours time difference. That made me wonder could there be some new ways of thinking two time zones and what would people who travel a lot appreciate at the future?

My Wacom paintings from Tokyo crossroads, where I can see busy people and worry about climate change, made me wonder sustainability and
material resources. This gives great opportunities to benefit material resources of aircraft graveyards and check future possibilities of that.

I made this watch to stand for these values and for a future. I wanted also to point this field of airplane industrial waste yard,
which could be future designers playground.
