Born in 1980 in Lucerne (Switzerland), she started studying industrial design at ECAL in 2000. During her studies, she had the opportunity to present a school project, a funnel, at the exhibition of ECAL during the Milan furniture fair. This project attracted the attention of manufacturer ligne roset. The funnel subsequently went into production and collaboration with ligne roset continued after her diploma.
Today, she divides her time between two part time employments: she works as an assistant at the industrial design department of the University of Arts in Zurich and is also a member of swiss designer Beat Karrer's team. She works on personal projects outside of those two jobs. «Disordered order, illuminated dark spots, artificial nature, ordinary valuables; I like contradictions!»
