NBIC initiates and co-ordinates research and education to stimulate the development of the field of bioinformatics.

Research found that the organisation was lacking in visibility within their own specialist field. Therefore the new house-style was set around a strong and simple 'yet recognisable' logo.

The visuals that are incorporated in the house-style were developed with custom build software. Using 17th century biology pen drawings and a typographic grid of the letters ACTG (the letters that form DNA), the image changes from 'biology' into 'informatics'.

Noteworthy details
Besides building software we also developed a custom drawn typeface for the project.
