Born in 1980 in Fribourg (Switzerland), she received her diploma in industrial design at the Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2004.
During her studies at ECAL, working with Atelier Oï, she created the «Pyllon» stool which was shown at the Designer’s Saturday in Langenthal in 2004, at the Salone Internazionale di Mobile in Milano in 2003 and at the Musée de Design et d’Arts Appliqués Contemporains in Lausanne. The stool was part of the «Swiss Design Now»-Exhibition shown in Shanghai, Beijing and Valencia. Based on that furniture piece, the collaboration with B&B continued for other projects. In 2002 Aebischer won the first prize of the D&AD Student Award competition for the creation of a packaging for Bodyshop. This success allowed her to do an internship in London at the office of jonesknowlesrichie.
After her diploma she followed different kinds of on-the-job-training, for example with Bread & Butter in Lausanne and during a half year internship at the office of Norway Says in Oslo. She also works as a graphic designer.
