Paramvir Singh started his creative journey in childhood, spending his summer holidays illustrating his own comic books. He went on to join Advertising, gaining quick popularity and respect as an agency Art Director. During this period he was immensely inspired by the work of film makers like Tarsem, Frank Budgen, Michel Gondry, Chris Cunningham, Jonathan Glazer etc and Cinematographers like Conrad Hall, Chris Menges, Roger Deakins etc. He took a sabbatical from work and went to study Cinema at the prestigious Film and TV Institute of India, where his graduation film won him the President's National Award for Best Cinematography.

Paramvir went on to shoot documentaries, features, and commercials, setting up a commercial production house as well.

He currently resides in Mumbai, has a keen interest in images and the visual art, and shoots commercials, documentaries and features. He also runs a couple of popular websites on film making and advertising.
