Purewhyte 'Simplexity' Collection

Disciplines Interiors, Products

Released 2009

Purewhyte’s debut collection was recently launched at the Milan Furniture Fair 2009 during Salone del Mobile, in association with Designersblock.

Purewhyte is the new design brand founded by London based designer Kirsty Whyte in 2008.

The core principle that defines this collection and
Purewhyte’s work is the ethos of ‘Simplexity’; simplicity layered with complexity, resulting in a pure design.

Sustainability and longevity are also key; with these products being produced to a high quality with little or no material wastage.

The entire collection was created on two months and manufactured exclusively in the UK, spanning Hampshire, Tyne and Wear, and the Lake District – and all elements of the 2009 Milan collection will be available to be exclusively licensed.

The products launched were: The DREW coat stand, DREW dining table, GORDO pendant light and HOUND occasional table.
