The Diddler is an experiment in developing a new ergonomic MIDI controller instrument.
It started life as a tin can with a piezo sensor inside, that you could tap anywhere to get MIDI notes out. Amazingly that tin full of wires got through Israeli airport security without them batting an eyelid.
Then it became a two handed 'gun' with two sensors for the first two fingers of the left hand and five sensors for the thumb and four fingers of the right. That's the version in the pictures.
Now it's a device that clips onto your belt.
It plugs into any Roland drum brain. What it sounds like depends on me and my computer.
